À travers une réflexion à la fois littéraire et traductologique, nous tentons de comprendre les mécanismes sous-jacents à ce phénomène. Nous nous basons tout spécialement sur le cas d’écrivains qui se sont traduits mutuellement dans le but d’expliciter les choix et les positions prises lors de ce dialogue traductif hors commun ; ainsi que les répercussions directes d’une telle osmose sur l’œuvre qui en résulte. Cette réciprocité de l’acte traductif et ce curieux va-et-vient - entre les deux facettes complémentaires de l’acte de création (Écrire et traduire) nous amènent à nous interroger sur le statut du traducteur et à repenser quelques notions - relatives à la pratique traductive - à la lumière de la théorie sur l’invisibilité du traducteur de Lawrence Venuti. The present paper examines the case of Authors-translators in a literary francophone context. The study is especially focused on the case of Authors who have translated each other in order to explain the choices and positions taken during this extraordinary translational dialogue; and to highlight the direct impact of such an osmosis on the target text. This reciprocity of the translating act and this curious and endless back and forths between the two facets of the creation (Write and translate) lead us to revisit the status of the translator as well as his relationship with both the original text and its author. This case study is endeavouring to understand the mechanisms of this phenomenon as well as its direct repercussions on the translated text with reference to Lawrence Venuti’s theory on the translator’s invisibility. mer., 04 déc. 2019 00:13:20 +0100 lun., 20 mars 2023 14:55:16 +0100 http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/lamaindethot/751
