G. Shpet - Paraphrases on a Modern Theme

G. Shpet’s works, especially the late ones, have a great value to contemporary humanitarian sciences. It is possible to speak about three directions of incorporation his ideas in modern science. The first – his concept of emotional experience allows elaborate a new approach to the mechanism of social and ethnic consciousness’s (identity) formation. The second – Shpet’s position about culture as one of determinations of person’s formation opens ways for research of socialization process: the culture can be considered as synergetic factor structuring process of socialization, especially during ambiguity and crisis periods. The third – ideas of G. Shpet about ways of overcoming a naturalistic position and construction interdisciplinary communications in investigations of social reality are important for decision methodological problems of postmodern psychology.
