C’est la prise en compte, tant chez Montaigne que chez Chpet, de la notion de schéma corporel, du langage du corps, qui nous permet d’admettre, de par sa concrétude, le caractère non arbitraire de la forme du mot. Il en résulte un usage des mots-choses pour comprendre les choses (le réel) et construire l’histoire et la mémoire (la réalité détachée).

It is actually the taking into consideration, both in Montaigne’s and in Shpet’s works, of the notion of body schema, of body language, which allows us to admit, because of its concreteness, the non-arbitrary character of the form of the word. It results in the use of object-words to understand things (reality) and build-up history and memory (removed reality).

Принимая в учет понятие схемы тела и телесного языка у Монтеня и у Г. Шпета, мы можем допустить, что своей конкретностью характеристика формы слова не произвольна. Из этого следует, что слова-вещи используются для понимания вещей (дейстительность) и для конструирования истории и памяти (отрешенная реальность).
