Depuis quelques années se multiplient les performances urbaines qui visent à alerter de l’urgence climatique. Les activistes recourent à diverses stratégies agitatives, indépendantes des manifestations, tout en variant notablement les modalités d’appel aux spectateurs. Cet article revient sur trois registres art-activistes : des artivismes hard, endeuillé ou dramaturgique. Les performances jouent sur des émotions différentes, quoique toujours troubles, et mettent l’accent sur des perspectives tantôt plus collectives, tantôt plus subjectives. S’il n’est pas aussi explicite que pouvait l’être l’agit-prop, l’appel à un changement radical des modes d’existence se fait toutefois de plus en plus éloquent.
In recent years there has been an increase in the number of urban performances aimed at alerting people to the climate emergency. Activists use various agitative strategies independently from demonstrations, and they elaborate very different ways in which they appeal to audiences. This article looks at three art-activist registers: a hard artivism, as well as a mournful and dramaturgical one. The performances play on different, though still troubled, emotions and emphasise sometimes more collective, sometimes more subjective perspectives. Although not as explicit as agitprop, the call for a radical change in ways of living is becoming increasingly eloquent.
В последние годы растет число городских перформансов, цель которых — оповестить людей о чрезвычайной климатической ситуации. Помимо уличных демонстраций, активисты прибегают к различным агитационным стратегиям, вырабатывая альтернативные методы обращения к аудитории. В этой статье рассматриваются три направления арт-активизма: хард-артивизм, а также скорбный и драматургический. Перформансы провоцируют различные, но, как правило, тревожные эмоции и поочередно выводят на первый план то коллективные, то более субъективные перспективы. Несмотря на то, что призыв к радикальному изменению образа жизни звучит не так резко, как это было бы в случае агитпропа, он, тем не менее, становится все более и более убедительным.
